I have a Toshiba Satelite L50-B Laptop that shipped with Windows 8.1.
I would like to dualboot Windows 7 Ultimate with this. I have already disabled Secureboot (within the UEFI BIOS) and it will read my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 DVD until the Starting Windows animation.
It will freeze while trying to play the animation.
My Windows 7 x64 Flash drive will not load at all unless I switch the Mode in UEFI BIOS from UEFI to CSM.
Then it will work till I get to the Hard drive part. It says this: "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT style."
Windows 8.1 will not load in CSM Mode.I have to change it back to UEFI Mode.
Now I get options from within Windows 8.1 to boot to the following:
EFI Network
EFI USB Device
EFI DVD/CD ROM
Doing the EFI USB Device option will not boot my Flash drive.
Any suggestions to get Windows 7 Ultimate x64 without wiping and losing Windows 8.1?
