Nope. I don't got a better name than "MultiUpdateChecker" or "MUCLib".
The Multi Implies that it can handle the update in multiple ways (but only one per instance, it's a lie!)
How Does it Work:
Quite simply, it downloads the URL you provide in the constructor as a string, and run's a MEF Plugin (via a MEF Plugin :P, I really should of handled the First MEF plugin's logic internally, rather then outsourced to a plugin xD) to see if the Version provided is older than the downloaded version.
This Library is Type in-sensitive, and will fail over to String if no plugin for checking the type of Class provided. The Update Type must be a Class, and nullable. Provided Class Checker's are String and Version (String being used for a Fallback when no existing Class Checker). The Update Checker will trigger an event, if there is a newer version, which can be subscribed to via a EventHandler in the Constructor, or normally via AddHandler/Event +=
Why is this C# Library posted in the VB.Net Section:
Because it's a Open Source Library, and i'll be providing a Compiled Version to download, for use in VB.Net Applications.
Why .Net 4.5:
Because Async/Await.
Is the best way to check for Updates:
Probs not, #BadCoding
Why did I Make this:
Because i was sick of seeing poor implementations which claim to do a lot of shit, and does most of it poorly (EG: "Multi-threaded" = Application.DoEvents....WAIIIII)
Example Implementations:
Images because i know everyone just loves images, and because the Source will be provided in a Public BitBucket Repo. Also, check both Examples for two different ways of handling the main class of the Library.

C# (Click to View)
Coming Soon?:
Potentially updating the Library with a Task.Run(() => {});, to make sure that the update check is perform off of the UI Thread, incase the provided Class has a lot of data, that will be de-serialized in the MEF Plugin.
Better implementation of UpdateAvailableEventArgs<Type T>...Doubt it though.
Downloads:
Compiled Binary: Download (Debug Build, Deal with it <3) - VirusTotal
Source: Bitbucket Repo (Includes both the C# and VB.Net Examples.
P.S:
Any suggestions on improving this library are welcome, and will be considered (besides making this an Updater, rather than an Update Checker), and please don't chew me out for naming my variables like "Version Version;" :D
