Hello,

I feel kinda shitty for doing this. Anyways, I'm staying home from school today, and the main reason why is because I have to bike to school, and it's snowing like a motherfucker outside, and it normally takes me 25 minutes to take my bike to school but in this snowstorm and slippery road, It'd take me at least 40-50 minutes, so I'm staying home for today. I have three lessons today in total, Chemistry, English and TOK. I feel bad for not attending even though I'm not sick, so today while I'm home I'll do a little work on all three subjects. I had homework due in TOK, but I did that so that's good, going to hand it in tomorrow.

Have you guys done anything like this?

im allso staying home for school, because my schoolbus did drive away 4minutes before usualy, so i cant get to school, and it is allso snowing in my country.

You have a good reason not to attend. It's dangerous in snow (I'm in FL so I only saw snow on the discovery channel) shit is dangerous. Say inside and ask a friend (like you have friends.) to get some notes for you so you don't fall behind.

But don't ever do this shit again or it's gonna turn into a very bad habit... just trust me... I went almost 3 months without going to school because I skipped for 1 day and got addicted.

I'm usually very committed to school and I'm only sick a few times a year. This day won't affect me too much, I'll be working on the subjects from home.

I just escaped from school like 5 minutes ago.

Basically I'm in 6th form and they don't let you outside of school during free periods anymore, only at lunch which I think is bullshit. I haven't got another lesson until 2 and I think it's pretty pointless staying in school for 3 hours doing nothing when it literally takes me 3 minutes to walk to my house. I usually distract the person at the office and walk out the main entrance, but this time I couldn't because there was more than one person there. I thought no worries because I can go out of a fire exit in the sports hall, I got out and shut the door, it's like a little side exit and it's pretty concealed round there. So I sneak round the front and see the two caretakers gritting (it's snowing here) the car entrance, which is the only way I can walk out, so I walk back to the little area and wait there for a few minutes thinking on what I can do, so I look round the corner of the wall and I see the caretaker about 15feet away looking at my footprints on the floor so I was like oh shit and ran back round to my hiding spot, I wait there for about a minute and he looks round and sees me and was like 'You alright?' I just said to him 'Yeah, bit cold though' and then he fucked off. He probably wondered what I was doing considering we aren't allowed out, but he's a bit dopey so idk.

Next door to my school there's another school, where I was is the boundary between the two schools, separated by like a 4ft mini hill and some bushes, so I climbed up the hill into the school car park next door and ran out of their exit. Stupidly, my footprints are still on the fucking hill leading out and into their carpark, I know I fucked up, I should've blanked them out or something.

I checked a staffs email and they haven't sent out an announcement looking for me yet, which they usually do if someone's missing ect. I just hope the caretaker doesn't go back and see my footprints leading into the carpark.

Fuck.

Why would you feel bad to skip school for 1 day? Lol, I fucking hate school and skip a lot of classes. All that matters are grades, that's what I work for.

My school website shows that I've missed school eight days, but I'm sure I've missed a lot more.
I haven't been sick once this year.
