Is the HF News on the decline?

https://imgur.com/n5sKsE0

Statistics would say, "Yes!", but you might not agree with the statistics so if you read and compare the newer submissions of the HackForums News you might find a lack of passion or even interest in and of the articles you find in them!

Just an opinion of mine.

Podcasts used to be entertaining and then now they're not even weekly!

I have a feeling a lot of members enjoyed the podcast when it wasn't a verbal agenda of the HF News, but that's what it turned to after a specific member required it to become.

Anyways,

What do you think are some ideas we can suggest to the News team to improve their relevance to this forum because they're slowly becoming irrelevant?

Once again, this is nothing more than my opinion. If you disagree, that's fine too. If you think the HF News is perfect and doesn't need to take a new direction, that's great, maybe I'm just a salty pessimist.

HF News used to at least reach the HOT number of replies (which is 100), now it struggles to climb there.

If this thread ends up with more replies than the HF News, that is some sure signs that this thread is more relevant than those editions.

To be fair, however, if this thread doesn't exceed the lowest amount of replies within a week of its creation compared to the lowest amount of replies to a HF News edition, I'll close this thread, shut my trap, and acknowledge that the HF News is perfectly fine just the way it is because I have the judgement to tell me what the community agrees upon.
Yes it has been for sometime. The only reason it's even remotely relevant is because of all the 2014/15 L33T's that post the same shit over and over again..

"Well done Sir, impressive edition !!"
I agree, which member required it to become that way though?

Damn,Such HQ threads with 70 views? This is really going wrong!
What section does Sir write for the HF News? He's an amazing writer, but I think one of the issues is that a lot of the writing isn't done by him.
Isn't just the hf news. Seems like the whole HF is on the decline with the active members becoming less active. Guessing it's cause of the post-secondary.

This may be true, but I'd like to give you a friendly reminder to stay on topic. This is about the HackForums News, specifically.
They need to spin some shit. Make what the fuck I'm reading more interesting.

Perhaps you would have some suggestions you'd like to add?

Yeah I agree, it's HF, not the news.

HF needs more drama like we had back in the old days, that's when everyone has more fun, and in turn are more active.
The news can't last forever, I mean honestly if they wanted to keep going, they can just open a website for it.

While I remain morally nihilistic through observation?

They have announced something about a Hf Wiki for several years now. It's supposed to have been "completed", but let me tell you a secret.

The members in the Wiki team aren't doing anything at all. They're just flaunting the userbar and the completed Wiki hasn't been viewable to members even in the Writ3rs.

But I'm sure they have a defense so it's best not to jump to conclusions.
The group of members that is known as "the HFNT" has become smaller over the past year or two. Remember all of those news sections it had? Now it is down to just 4 sections with articles and the amount of content produced by those four sections are slowly getting smaller as another edition is released. There is no accurate way to see how many people actually read the news and the amount of responses made to each edition is on the decline because there is nothing to get people to make responses to. Most replies to the editions are just thanking Sir for all the work or someone starts a conversation that ends up becoming off the topic of what was said in the content of the news edition.
