The Pirate Bay relaunch is FBI's Honeypot? Pirate Bay Team Responds,'NO WAY'
After almost two months of untimely and unexpected outage, The Pirate Bay (TPB) finally came back this weekend. But the re-launch of the infamous torrent-indexing website raised a question among those suspicious about this new setup — Is it really The Pirate Bay?
A few days back we reported that The Pirate Bay – a widely popular file-sharing website predominantly used to share copyrighted

There have already been multiple threads and an incredible amount of speculation on whether or not this is true already. Personally I believe that the Pirate Bay is completely compromised.

Personally I never used Piratebay for torrents, only ever used kickasstorrents and I like it far more. Heard PB is good for ratting though :P
Yeah I've read about this, however I don't even use TPB. Anyways, thanks for the friendly reminder
I used piratebay, and had no issues with it. But lately have stayed away from it due to the events that have happened. Probably will go back to it once people start saying it isnt compromised.

Still though FBI got hand on pirate bay and their hands are not still dirty as usually
Holy shit, finally. I love the pirate bay! Still using it, whether it's compromised or not. Gives me movies, I'm fucking good.
Honestly, Pirate Bay, as well as other torrent sites, need to move away from actual websites and use an alternative method like BitSync. Think about it- no one user or group will be able to "own" it since it lives in the cloud. No more worrying about Raids or whether government enforcement has compromised it.
Personally I use DC++, a method of direct connecting to specific user to get requested content. Sharing is Caring.
Thank You.

Now enough threads avbout this please we don't need 999999 threads about TPB
The pirate bay has been shut down by the FBI many times in the past. Pirate bay cannot be shut down perminatl tho, I believe that it is safe to use.
I doubt the fbi would put the time to get some people that torrent a shit load of things. I feel they could just get the people in other ways.
The pirate bay is most likely compromised.
You guys are all mostly idiots. If you don't fundamentally understand what torrenting is and how it works, then you don't understand that TPB doesn't need to be compromised. You're broadcasting your own IP when you download and/or upload a torrent, and everybody (including the FBI) can monitor these IPs. They don't need to log your IPs when searching torrents, because it's pointless since they already have the IPs of those who download/upload. Simply looking at a torrent page is not illegal. It's frustrating to see all of this ignorance and 'OMG TPB IS COMPROMISED'. Whether it is or not, it wouldn't matter.

I believe the feds are not behind this. They have better "things" to do.
