Everyone here at BSDaCLI discourages their encouragement and use. Well, I put virus as "virus". I have heard that they aren't really viruses but I can't really explain it in a different way. None of the serious members are into that kind of thing. You might find some scripts but, as you say, they'll be low quality and may not even work.
We do generally discourage people from posting such things. May I ask where your interest stems from? (Mar 26, 2015 09:35 AM)ninen2001 Wrote: but I can't really explain it in a different way. How about the term "malware", it encompasses exactly what you are referring to. Although malware written in batch is generally useless. If you want to learn batch you can do so without the use of malware, all of the members in this section would be more than happy to welcome anyone willing to learn until malware is involved. Once that happens, no one here will offer any real help other than saying batch should NOT be used for such purposes. (Mar 26, 2015 11:45 AM)Nakamoto. There are things I could use in those makers for legit files.

Well it sure as shit isn't for educational purposes...

There's no purpose in corrupting, damaging or removing files and Windows. Honestly, I just want a virus maker to check the code and see if there is anything that I could use in the future.
You can make "some sort of virus" with batch & base Windows apps (xcopy, reg.exe to add startup key...) so they could also spread to other drives.
But they are really clumsy and have very limited functionality. But it's really worthless. You can do much better with something as simple as VBS. |
