I looked into GoPro's to film my summer / spring break in flordia..

So I will do anything from skateboarding, to swimming, to walks..

But the price.. It kills me.. $499 for a small decent stat camera.. Anyone know a good camera for underwater, everyday things ect or should I just not pay rent for a GoPro (Not for real :P)

$499 is for the top-of-the-line Black Edition GoPro. That's for 4k30fps.

You can get the lowest end model and it can record 1080p30fps which is all you really need.

I would suggest you the Toshiba Camileo X-Sports instead of the gopro. You can get it from around $300 and its definitely worth it!

well I know there is alot of different brands now in the market but I think gopro is the best.
