So i listened to a couple suggestions from people that said Anohana would make me cry for days and to be honest it really wasnt that sad. The only part that even had me think it was sad was the ending. I dont know if its because ive seen sadder anime like Clannad, Angel Beats 5 Centimeters per second etc. or is it that i couldnt really relate because it seemed kinda childish? tell me what you guys think
Was Anohana really that sad? |

Umm got more sad from Anohana than Clannad myself. I think it's more because maybe you don't think that's so sad, because after all...
Anohana spoilers (Click to View) People find different things sad. Clannad didn't touch me too much either. The thing that gets me emotional is when things end. Anohana spoilers (Click to View) Clannad AS spoilers (Click to View) So yeah no idea about you but that's what I find sad. A lot of emotional things others get worked up over or "cry for days" for barely touches me at all, and at the same time there's a lot of people who get happy when good shows finish etc as where I get sad over that. I also think how fast you watch a show has an impact on the emotional part of it. If you binge a show you may or may not be struck with a huge void. If you watch one episode a week you're gonna have a very hard time getting emotional over it. If you watch perhaps a few episodes a day it might work on longer shows but Anohana is pretty short, so not sure about that. (Personal experience) |
