Lately, when browsing through this sub-forum. I have noticed that there are multiple threads/posts regarding Group Ownership.
So, here is the list of steps to becoming a Official HF Group Owner;
1) Upgrade your account to UB3R.
This requires becoming L33t first (here), once you have L33t and believe you are fit and your profile is worthy of becoming UB3R you can apply (here). If you get approved you'll have to pay the fee of $25.00 to then get upgraded by Omniscient.
2) Approved for Official Group Ownership.
Once you're a UB3R, your profile is looking good and you want to give a shot at getting approved to own a group then you have to PM the owner of Hack Forums, Omniscient. The PM should state whether or not you're approved for Group Ownership.
3) Finding a Official Group to buy.
Once you're UB3R, approved to own a group (By Omniscient) then you're very close to owning your own group. You need to find a owner that's willing to sell there group for the price you're intending to pay. You can find the group owners here; https://hackforums.net/showgroups.php the owners are usually the first leader. Send them a PM with detailed information such as "Proof of Approval, Payment Method, Price?"
If you don't know who the group owners are and what group they own, here is a list:
4) Making the purchase.
Once you've found a owner from the list above and tied up a deal you need to gather the funds you agreed on and pay him via the payment method you agreed on. Once he/she (Group Owner) has received the payment, they will PM the site owner, Omniscient. Stating that the transfer of their group ownership needs to be given to YOU.
Pricing & Extras:
Currently, $7,500.00 is the average price for a Official Group.
$250.00 for Transfer Fee (Once the ownership has been transferred to you and you have decided on a group topic/theme and gathered graphics. You will need to pay Omniscient to change these things which cost $250.00)
~$100.00 for Group Graphics (The average rate I've seen is around $100.00 when new groups are requesting graphics)
