The Power of Earning From Fiverr

Are you on a constant look to make extra income? Do you always feel like being on a cash shortage, not being able to buy the things you want with your regular paycheck? Then you definitely need to explore the world of the freelancers. It may sound fancy, but it is a great way to make money by doing relatively simple tasks. Once you’ve started, it depends very much on you how much you wish to earn and how deep you get into this aspect. Fiverr is one of the websites that can help you make some money in a very decent manner. Let us talk about Fiverr, what does it mean and, more importantly, how you can earn money with its support.

Fiverr is an online platform where people expose their services, for a minimum order of $5 ($5.5 now), and where people come searching for these services, paying that amount of money. It looks like a massive marketplace for a large number of freelancers, from all domains, gathering here to display their talents. But regardless of how many you see in a category, everybody gets to do some work. Of course, there are the best-rated freelancers and the rookies, from which the first category will always receive more orders. But don’t worry about it if you like what you are doing and take good care of your customers, you can get in that position as well. You see, Fiverr works on a system of feedbacks and ratings, so you may want to make sure you deliver a good quality job to receive a good feedback and a five star rating. High ratings will ensure that more people will see you and trust your services based on previous activity. Of course, don’t worry if you get four stars, they are good also, but it may mean to put some extra effort next time if you want a maximum score.

So what can you do on Fiverr? Think what you can do best by using a computer. Do you know Photoshop or other programs of electronic design? Great, think about creating a gig on this. Do you love reading and writing? Perhaps you can help others write their articles or school assignments. If you are a starter in the business, you can try being a virtual assistant, a translator if you know another language well, or you can help on data introduction tasks. Before thinking of a gig, just browse through all the sections and categories of services. See what can suit you best and look at what others have to offer. It may help you create a unique gig, to attract attention. Also, regardless of your gig, you must decide how much you want to offer based on a $5 payment. Think that this is just the start because if things go well, there will be customers asking for more and being ready to pay more. So hold on tight.

Let’s say you already thought about the gig you want to create

Well, when creating it, put all your imagination to work to look as presentable and as useful it can be. People will be interested in a gig that tell them what they will get after paying those $5. You will have a limited number of words, so give your best shot at the gig description. Try to read it several times and see if you can improve it. Just think that this is your business card in Fiverr, so if you want to make things happen then do them with quality.

Once your gig is launched, you will have to wait for the first order. Fiverr gives you the opportunity to make your gig public on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, so don’t hesitate to use these too if you want to have more exposure. You should pack a little patience as orders might not appear on the first day. Check the gig and think about better keywords to make it more visible. Fiverr uses description words, as tags, to use in searches when a buyer is looking for a particular service. So think about the best tags that could represent your gig. Once you got the attention, and the first order is on the way, make sure you put your best efforts in it. Remember, you need good feedback and ranking if you really want to start making money this way. And for the top sellers, I can guarantee the income is quite significant. Also, you should know that the net income you get after completing a gig is $4, as Fiverr will keep $1 (or 20%) of your revenues as tax for intermediating your business. But this is something that happens of any freelancer service website. Besides, if you get started and earn enough, this fee will not bother you too much.

The best part about Fiverr is that you can make your schedule. You are the master of your gig and of your time. But, it is recommendable to have a fast turnaround if you are a newcomer if you want to make some money and get the business going. Once you become popular and orders are flowing in, you can work on the delivery time according to your schedule. Fiverr is very flexible, and you can always check things regarding your profile, gig or gigs, delivery time, you can add extra services and many more. Some even ended up earning full income just on Fiverr, so now they have their home owned business. So yes, it can be quite fruitful to work on Fiverr, especially if you like this type of work. But having a full job on Fiverr depends very much if you can earn enough to support yourself and if you are willing to work mostly at home. If not, it is still a great way to add up to your usual monthly income. So whatever you choose to do, have fun with it, because this way it will bring you the biggest satisfaction.

Thank you for reading the thread and good luck!

Got questions? Need help? Need advice? Just send me a PM and I'll get back to you ASAP!
Looks pretty HQ and well written, thanks for posting it!
Veni, Vidi, Vici

It's somewhat long ....
And it lacks something "specific" ....but HEY, that's Fiverr and one can't suggest others what service they are capable to do

And it's really awesome thread for those less experienced that jumped on Fiverr with wrong foot and didn't make a penny amd dumped the idea of profiting from services they are capable to do.
As one smart person on this forum wrote, success won't come over night. And same goes to Fiverr or Youtube or SEO, or affiliate marketing ....
Thank you guys!

How would you get people on your gig and not the other 20-40+ gigs? Have any method for it?

Make sure you have high quality graphics, descriptions and titles for your gig, this will help you catch attention and will make your gig rank higher.

Also after you get a couple sales on the gig people will buy quicker. People dont want to be the first buyer.

Keep trying, at first I thought I couldnt get any sales.. but I had my first 3 sales the past 3 days :)

In my opinion, the gigs that worked for me the most are video related services. Like being a spokesperson, making video testimonials, video reviews, etc...

You can also get your first free fiverr gig business cards that you can give around to potential customers. But then it all boils down to the quality you provide.

Hope that helps🤝
