Snow Leopard to Yosemite

Just got a macbook but when I hit install OS it's default is Snow Leopard, so now I need to download that (taking more than 5 hours) and then download Yosemite. Is there anyway to directly download Yosemite and then boot it up?

I can't access the Mac store and download it because I don't have access to any macs.
Err, maybe you can find a download online or get a HF member to give it to you then put it on a blank usb/so card the when you start the mac up hold option the once the screen says pick startup dick click the USB og wait then the files will save on the USB. Another way is to just start it up (I'm pretty sure the os is already downloaded on it) then just go to the app store and download & run your mite

Could anyone maybe provide me a yosemite link?

Yeah i thought about that but the OS isn't downloaded on because a relative gave it to me so it was completely reset, only stuck with a reinstall option and the only thing that's there is Snow Leopard.
Try this and download Yosemite from the App Store: http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php...ostcount=4

Nevermind, Snow Leopard installed faster than I expected. Just installing it from the mac store.
