SAO rocks. But after watching Log Horizon i think at every point it was SAO concept with a twist or maybe not.
When i started watching Log Horizon i felt like pissed. Really.
"The Apocalypse" my ass. how the fuck does anyone accpet they are trapped in a game so easily ? numb? well SAO was good at this point. But i continued watching and somehow i made it till the 25th episode now there S2 too >.>
well couldnt miss the S2 so am watching it too.
What you guys think ?👹

they are two completely different spins on relatively the same concept. Comparing the two is doesnt really make sense. Log Horizon isnt about the idea of being trapped in the game, its more about what they do once they come to terms with being trapped in the game. Its even set up to be about the story as opposed to SAO that is set up to just work towards getting out, hence why in SAO there was an explanation in the first episode where Log Horizon there never was. Also why in SAO you can die permanently in the game and real life where in Log Horizon you respawn. The difference is that Log Horizon is about the story, you are just supposed to enjoy it and not really care about what happens in the end, while the end is a mystery and keeps you watching because you really dont know what is gonna happen, SAO is just supposed to be a ride but the end isnt exactly a mystery, its entirely the ride.
I dropped SAO. I hated it. I'll take Log Horizon over it

Then you havent been in this section very long. Most people here almost flaunt their hate for SAO especially after the first arc.

well it turned up good but it went worst. well loved the starting it had the "vibe" of difference aka something new

Loh Horizon is like much to read/listen much talking less action than Sword Art Online
thats why I prefer SAO for me = )
Log Horizon is about them adapting and rebuilding society within the game.
SAO is about beating/escaping and the love between Kirito and Asuna.

I wouldn't say the shows are completely different, but they aren't the same either. I personally don't think they should be compared, but nonetheless I did enjoy both of them for different reasons.
SAO S1 >>> Log Horizon
Log Horizon >>> SAO S2

Log Horizon is a pretty good anime OP, Though the season 2 kind of sucked imo.
They get too comfortable in the second season of log horizon. Too many damn festivals.
