This was the first attempt for me , It's basically the Adidas logo with a small change , I'd love to get some constructive criticism :')

Not sure why you have "Double Exposure" as the title, just looks like layer masking to me.

It mimics a double exposure effect , but yeah you're right it does use layer masking

Personally id add a slight stroke to it or something (inner stroke)
to make it standout more

but I cant quite tell how that might look atm

Yeah, it's pretty basic I guess, but its minimalistic in other words, I like it though, not bad.

However, I don't like how you use photography/cinematography terms for graphics, double exposure or multiple exposure has always been a pure photography technique where you take the photos in camera. I mean yeah nowadays there's only few people who still do this in camera with 35mm film etc but I just don't like merging the 2 haha.

a rounded font and a squared logo isnt appealing

I think it looks really nice! Did you put any effects on the photo you have used? If I was going to change anything then maybe something with the text. I'm not sure if its the font or because its lower case but it doesn't quite fit in my opinion. Looks good though. Simple but effective.

I slightly changed the photo , the Adidas font is all lowercase
