Hello, and welcome to my thread designated to Programming Lessons. If users show active interest in this type of service, I will get a gorgeous thread up and going. But for now, I'm going to keep it simple. :)

Service Offerings:

1. One-On-One lessons over TeamViewer or Skype.
   


2. Group lessons via Skype, offered at a discounted rate (2 or more students).
   


3. Optional "homework" projects to advance more quickly outside of lessons.
   


4. Free support outside of lessons to answer questions related to the lessons I have taught.
   

Lessons:

Lessons will usually be completed over TeamViewer or Skype. Depending on current student experience with programming, lessons will be adjusted accordingly.

I have a custom curriculum that I created, so lessons do not end are specific times, they end once the lesson material has been covered and no questions remain. However, it can be expected for lessons to last between one and two hours.

I offer complete beginner lessons, and I tend to start with Java for these lessons. Python is also considered for students, we can determine which is best for each individual.

For each lesson, I will teach the curriculum for that lesson, then provide optional "homework" projects to practice outside of the lesson.

After purchasing a lesson, I will offer free support via Skype outside of the lesson to each student.

Pricing:

1. One-On-One lessons typically start around $15 for a lesson. (This will include optional "homework" projects and free Skype support.)
   


2. Group lessons will receive discounts depending on the number of students.

Ah, yes, thank you for pointing that out! You are correct, lessons will typically last between 1.5 - 2 hours. Since I will follow my custom curriculum and not a set time, it will vary depending on the student. But thank you for reminding me to add that in the thread. :)

Hi, it really depends on the situation. I am not currently too interested in large projects. For some small projects, if the pay is right, then sure. But this service is more aimed towards helping others learn. Thanks. :)

You still have time to switch! It's never a bad thing to know too many languages. :) Having a bit of experience in VB will also help you learn the new language easier. If you want to talk a bit more about the lessons, feel free to ask any questions, or PM me, or add me on Skype. :)

Hey, thanks for the comment! Lessons with this user have gone great, Man Bear Pig is an excellent example of a student.
