What does Virtual Machine means?
Virtual machine, an efficient, isolated duplicate of a real machine. Current use includes virtual machines which have no direct correspondence to any real hardware.

Why should I use Virtual Machines
Well this is pretty simple. Instead of running something suspicious on your system (Virus, Worm or Trojan), you can run it on Virtual Machine and avoid getting infected.

Nice, simple and straight to the point.

It's something like that. But quite useful software if you ask me and will come handy in 99% of cases.

You've made me torrent Vmware because it's so used it's the norm. Virtual Box is good but it's not so common, so I'm getting VMWare now. lol.

I use Virtual Box, but VMware is one of the best VM's out there, in my opinion.

A Virtual Machine Is just that, they're all a much of a muchness.
Yes there are some that have options/features that others don't and vice versa, so It all comes down to familiarity and overall usability In terms of what your expectations are.
