I've been seeing a lot of posts lately asking for Live methods so I'm going to share one that I have used before.
This method is not new and works best if you are on the Xbox One as it uses the Share Gold feature. The method is free, whitehat and has been shared on the forum in the past.
This method will only allow you to make free 1 month accounts. If you are on Xbox 360, you can only use this one time per account. If you are on Xbox One this method will allow you to have unlimited gold (1 month subscriptions) on your main account, but you will need to make a new account every month. Some people may find this annoying, but hopefully it will help some of you guys out there.
1) Make a new account at www.xbox.com.
2) Use this link to sign up for a free 1 month of gold.*
3) On the Xbox website, go to My Account, then Subscriptions and turn off Auto Renewal.
4) Sign in to your new account on your Xbox One.
5) Go to Settings and set your Xbox as your Home Xbox.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 when your subscription runs out.
*To use the offer, you have to enter billing information. You can either enter your personal billing, or use fake information. Either way, no charges will be made as you will turn off auto renewal once done. If you use your personal credit card, I believe it will only let you make 5 accounts as Microsoft have a safety measure to only allow 1 credit card on x amount of accounts. The offer can only be redeemed 1 time.

Yeah, I'm just tired of explaining the same thing to multiple people and constantly having to find the link for the offer over and over again. Now I can just link them to this.
Hopefully this thread will reduce the spammy posts of people asking for free methods/codes as well...

Right. This thread will be useful for the majority of posts in this section.
I just tried this with a new account and after my purchase, my gold was removed from the account for some reason. Anyone else have this problem?
If any could hook me up with a 48 hour I would appreciate it.

Haven't heard of this problem... Try again with different billing? (Assuming you used fake info)

It might work but the Xbox website is disastrous. Sign up for a new Xbox.com account just to be told that I have to then sign up for a Microsoft account, which wouldn't have been such an issue if it didn't just keep saying: "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in at the moment. Please try again later." FFS Microsoft. I'll try this again later and see if they've sorted their shit out.

When I make new accounts, I make a new outlook email on the Microsoft site as well. I just follow the typical sign up instructions... Dunno if that helps.. I never have issues lol.
