I'm looking to learn French, and I'd be delighted to help someone that wants to learn English. If someone wants to do this with me then please PM / Post below, and we can get started.

I know some french, I could probably guide you in the general direction of where to start/ some basic verbs
Learning another language is extremely difficult, you'll need a good memory and fast recall. I barely passed year 7,8,9,10 Italian... it was horrible. Good Luck though!

Don't listen to other people, learning another language is easy if you want to!If you aren't so worried about learning to read the language I would recommend Pimsleur French! Great audio course and it will get you started in no time. Listen to it before bed, while walking the dog or anything haha. I did Pimsleur French and I cannot praise it enough haha. It has written/reading components but its real strength is in speaking...... It's expensive though, I would recommend torrenting ;)
OP
I HIGHLY recommend Rosetta Stone for language learning. - About a year ago I decided to try my hand at Traditional Mandarin. Despite knowing how complex of a language it was. I found the Rosetta teaching method to be VERY easy to grasp. the entire system is based around Hearing the word, seeing it written and then learning to associate the word with a correct image that represents the word. What makes the teaching STICK is the variation in the repetition. - IE your learning to say "Cup" You will be given 4 images one of which is a cup, the others might be plates, cutlery or whatever. through 2-3 sets of images you will be presented with different types of cups to ensure you are correctly associating the word with the correct item. Highly recommend giving it a shot. 🤝
I don't mean to be rude but there are dedicated websites for learning languages while teaching others your own language.
I used some of them to initiate a first line of communication and from there we just skipped to Skype and Teamspeak. This is the website I've been using for the last couple of years and it was quite helpful:(Mind you I speak 6 languages) Too old to hang with the cool kids.

You have to practice with the native speakers and lots and lots of practice. Mastering a new language can take years! |
