Hi there, been sitting here for a couple of hours now with this one problem... Im working in an skype bot in VB, and I want to do so people can send "!resolve (skype username)" and then my bot will resolve it. I got an API for the resolving but I dont have any clue how I can do the resolving part.

I made an resolver that I put manualy in the skype name and press resolve and then the IP is given to me. Is the solution anything close to this?

I do have skype4com attached and all.

Detect the trigger on message received and filter the command ("resolve"), parse the argument (in this case: the IP) and send it to your API. Return the response and format it if you wish. Can be as simple as downloading the string.
