Hey guys, so I posted this in the C# section, so I thorught I should post it here since some of you may find this quite useful.

To compile this yourself you will need a YouTube API key, you can get that from here https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3...ng-started

A little bit of info
This works the same way SpotyDL worked, in very basic terms it gets song names and then finds the highest quality song and downloads it from external search engine websites. This does NOT get the song from spotify itself.

You can, but you need to be premium and it only saves in the program or app, so you dont get a MP3 file to take with you
With this, you can have a free account and download all your playlists and songs for free :)

Exactly what I needed. Do you need premium or can you do it from a free account?

Update - You don't need a premium account, but sometimes it only downloads about 4 seconds of a song...
