I just thought I would share the video. Nothing crazy or requiring made skill. I'm not charpu status, I just enjoy flying on spare time. Building them really is the fun part 😝

that is a sweet video what your setup and the camera used is it a go pro and what the cost to build it.

i had a dji phantom was using it near the beach and next second it shot into the sky high and never came back down.
some how it failed to return home. :(

The camera I use for recording is the Mobius Actioncam. It's much cheaper than the gopro, although quality is only 1080p 30fps.

QAV250 Frame
CC3D Flight Controller
2000kv Luminere motors
12amp SimonK ESC's
600mw Fatshark tx
5x3 Gemfan Props

Total cost probably roughly $600 - not including necessary things such as radio tx, FPV Goggles and antennas.

Never really played with the DJI Phantom. GPS is not really necessary unless your goals are photography. My setup is more so for facing and FPV experience.
