Youtube Search Ranking SEO Tips [Personal Help Guide]

I'll show you my personal SEO methods to rank on Youtube.

1. Keyword Research - Niche Research.
First, we need to figure a profitable niche, whether white/grey or black-hat. There are two types of niches, Saturated and Hot.
Saturated niches: Hard to rank/high competition, although goldmine if ranked for from Large volume searches. Hot niches: Best niche type, easy to
rank for, gradually results in high monthly searches and recommended for newcomers! This niche is a trending niche, e.g a new game, a new version
of the current game, a new movie, a new website/product etc.

Now, I'll show you how to find Hot Niches. Tools: Google Research/Sites, Adwords Keyword Planner. First use: https://www.google.com.au/trends/
Write any keyword ideas, the click rising to see trends. Another method, Search in google: "Gaming trends" Result with trending gaming niches at:
http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/ Or go to http://www.ign.com. For movies, type in Google: "Movies of 2015" - result is by google suggest.

Now go to Google keyword planner: Adwords Keyword Planner to research tags for your video for on-page Seo.
Here, write the main keyword, and get suggested keywords/find the monthly search volume over 12-month period. There are two categories:
[Ad group ideas] & [Keyword ideas]. First, look at "Ad Ideas" Here you'll see broad keyword suggests for Ideas & then click "Keyword Ideas" which
is the main area you'll be looking at.
Here, you will find specific tag suggests and search volumes. Make sure next to: [Avg. monthly searches] the number is 1k + to be worth it. There are
two types of keywords, Long-tail/short-tail. Long tail are longer keywords e.g: Minecraft gift code generator 2015 free. short: Minecraft code generator.
Longer keywords are easier to rank for if u add the whole keyword on your Videos since less competitor video's have the extra keywords in their vids.

Another way to find long-tail tags is to look at search-volume, bellow 5k tends to have less competitors using those tags. Another way to find low
competition keywords, is to look for tags that have uncommon phrases in them, e.g Minecraft gift code telecharger. Only 2,830 results on Youtube.
Remember, with hot niches, you don't even need to find low-competitive tags as hot niches already have low competitors. If you manage to rank for a
Hot niche without getting penalized on Google/Youtube, it will eventually become a saturated niche thus earning you a gold-mine without much work!

Remember, be creative and think outside the box. Questions to ask: What is currently trending? What would I want to complete a survey for? What
niche can I add a content locker? - Movies! etc.

2. Youtube On-Page Seo.
Now, we'll apply On-Page SEO to our Youtube channel/videos to rank in Youtube/Google. After video is created with, e.g: Camtasia: Camtasia download,
It is now time to write a medium-length 400 word niche article. Find info on Wikipedia, copy and paste it in your video's description/channel.
Now, create a channel, add your main keyword in as it helps ranking, e.g: "Minecraft Premium account - Daily - No Survey.

Now, add a relevant HQ avatar. Sources: Icon Archive
Now, find a unique relevant channel art. Now, the niche info u recently found, add it to channel description. Now post on your video's description.

Now, upload your video, Add a unique title, yet having your main keyword. e.g: "Minecraft premium account | Daily | No Survey". If you Add "How To"
Keyword, you will appear on Google more. As How To is one of the keywords that Google uses to show many video results on Google. Now, add you

title again in the first line of your description. Now, add your Call to action/website link. Make sure your link is Goo.gl shortened as it adds authority
and the link isn't blacklisted to prevent video ban. It's also recommended to upload on mediafire, then site although not necessary with url shortener.

Now, add your spinned article in the next one space, and finally, in the end, add some relevant, high authority and niche related sites, this is called
outbound linking. Youtube thinks: ":1 Ermm, his linking to authoritive/related sites, his niche must be relevant to the keyword his targeting and also HQ
since the site is Authoritive. Add at least 3 links. Then add call to action: Like, Subscribe, Comment, Share together with Credits: /sources.

Now, choose a unique and appealing thumbnail, then for tags, add the searched tags. Now, for category, add the most commonly used category for your
niche! This helps you pop on suggestions for relevant - same category videos. CAUTION: Most people use random, it's not always common sense, so
make sure to write your keyword in Youtube - click on videos - Show More under description and look at category. Most used category is People & Blogs
instead of Gaming/How-to for Gaming how-to niches!

Extra Ranking for your Video:
Now, It's time to boost it with Social signals e.g Likes, Comments, Subs and views = Great ranking factors. Many Social Exchange sites
have died, so today I'll be sharing my preferred top notch sites! These sites will provide HQ views!
and Likes, shares, subs etc.

Youtube HQ View Sites:
1. HitLeap View Exchange
2. AlexaBoostup View Exchange
3. 10K Hits View Exchange

Social Signals - Likes, Subs, Shares etc:
1. AddMeFast Social Exchange
2. YouLikeHits Social Exchange
3. UTube Hits Social Exchange

Some of them offer anonymous href but some are direct unless you go Premium. No worrys, you can convert your link to free redirects/ anonymous referrer links at e.g: LinkOnym Hide Referrer.

As for Likes, make sure to add them at the same time you boost views so it's natural. Recommended Ratios:
Likes:Views ratio: = 4%, that's 4 Likes for every 100 views.

Subs:Views ratio: If your YouTube channel has 100,000 subscribers,
then you should expect between 12-15,000 views per video.
That's how dramatic this sub ratio is! Make sure to only get view hundred subs!

Comments:Views ratio: The best ratio for measuring success for
comments vs views is comments:views = 0.5%.
If your video has generated 1000 views, a good measure of success would be 5 comments.

3. Youtube/Google targeting Off-Page Seo.
Now, we can off-page seo to rank our videos on Google. Remember, from my personal experience, back linking for Youtube rankings does not
work! We will be using something else to rank on Youtube which I'll mention further in the Tutorial.
Off-Page SEO is basically further promotion/Link-building. Further promotion: We can further promote both our landing website page/Youtube
video to both rank/earn visitors by using: Social Media.

Build fan-pages on Facebook and direct some traffic from your videos to the page. Force them to like it before attaining your product. Later-on
host giveaways/call-to-action on your pages directing them to your website. You can also post giveaways forcing them to comment/share the post
earning you new visitors, then direct to your site/video to get more views = ranking. Once you have a certain amount of likes, and you add unique
title/descript to your fan page, you will rank on auto-pilot on the Facebook search! Which you can later direct to your video/site for further traffic/
views/social signals e.g Likes, shares, subs = ranking.

PROOF? I'll show you my fan-page that I gained few likes & look at it now! 20-30 auto pilot likes as it ranked on Fb Search: My Minecraft Fan-Page

Now for link-building. Link-building is basically going on sites like: Web 2.0, Article submission, Directory submission, Social bookmarking, Forum
posting etc. These sites should be relevant, Authoritive & High Page-Rank on Google to prevent spam/reap the High page-rank juice to your site!

We will be using this format to post backlinks:

Remember, post your site next to "domain.com" and your multiple keywords in "Keyword". The keyword section is called anchor text. Make
sure not to use the same keyword more than 3 times. This is called keyword density. Try to add other related but unique keywords that you aren't
ranking for. Also, add this 40% of the time: <a href=”http://domain.com”></a> without Keword title.

It makes your link-building look natural and non spammy. Next to your Link, add a relevant post and submit on Forums/Blog/Social bookmarks e.g
Facebook posts. Now, spin your article 4-5 times, re-arrange paragraphs for greater uniqueness and post to article submissions/personal blog articles/
directory submissions.

1. Ytmonster is said to be really good providing high retention views although their viewer bot has like 8 trojans/malware when i scanned it, so be careful.

2. I honestly think that social signals are the easiest to fake compared to views. You just need to send few and at a slow pace. You also need to get other social signals. e.g if there are 100 likes, but 0 comments, seems suspicious. So submit comments with likes!
