So again I'm still somewhat new to Anime.
With that being said I watched Deadman Wonderland on Netflix and it was really good. But it left with like, absolutely no ending, like it was literally unfinished according to Netflix.
My question: are the rest of the episodes online somewhere? Or on another app? Or is there anywhere I can read the rest? Thank you! (;
Nah, that was the end of the first season. It left a lot of opening for a second, but the show didn't sell well in Japan, so they scrapped it. That's what I read, at least.
As a new viewer, you'll unfortunately encounter promising anime that have finished airing but were never completed.
Deadman Wonderland is one of them, with no hope of ever airing again.
You'll have to read the manga to find out what happens in the story.

This.
My understanding was that the anime had a huge following in the west, but not in Japan. Unfortunately if it is not popular in Japan it loses funding, and we end up missing out on an excellent story.

You'll encounter this quite often actually. It applies to Attack on Titan as well when it comes to the anime, but at least the manga is still being published.

Implying a second season already hasn't been confirmed? It comes out next year.
Actually this doesn't happen 'often' as everyone is saying. You do have to wait some time for a second season but that's just productions,out of all the anime I've watched I've seen maybe 4-5 shows that ended like they were going to have a second season but didn't. Deadman Wonderland being the worst.
Read the manga for it, its quite short and is p. good.

Yea I think it has. Still, waiting so much got me losing interest in the anime but that's probably just me being impatient.

Several OVA's and 2 Movies should have tied you over.
You it's really sad when you see a good anime not having another season (Spice and wolf, No Game No Life etc). Though if you really think that Deadman wonderland was really good, then you need start watching more anime. I'd be happy to recommend some as I've watched most of the anime out there (not counting shows under the top 1000 in MAL.
