Hi,
I've been using computers at a superficial level for a while and am new to hacking, I'm trying to teach myself as I go.
I've just started using Cain & Abel, when I start up the sniffer I get a message saying "WARNING !!! TCP Large/Giant Send Offloading is enabled for the current network interface...".
I can find a lot of answers on how to deal with this (go into cmd and enter "netsh int ip set global talkoffload=disable") however I want to understand what it actually means - can someone please explain it and why it is a problem? I don't seem to be able to find this anywhere in public forums. Sorry if that's a really rooky question!
Thanks
