I just recently formatted my PC, removed my HDD, used a Sata to usb and plugged my HDD and into my other PC.
I transferred the files, then placed it back into my old PC, formatted my old PC, then went back to get the files, they
were successful, I checked if they sent, they did, I then safely removed, turned it off from the power switch and safely
unplugged the SATA to usb wires.
I then placed my HDD back into my old PC, to only find that it says "Empty" in the folder I backed up. No, unfortunately,
properties also says it's empty thus nothing is hidden.
I then took it out again, placed it in other PC, empty too... I run chkdsk/r and sfc/scannow, fixed few errors but same thing.
I was dumb enough to cut the backup instead of copy... uhh... Any ideas? Would Recuva recover more than 50%? What if
the files were cut and transferred to another PC instead of deleted, would it still recover it using Recuva?
Thanks.
