Why it's "free" and not actually free.

They made a mistake when listing the rebate total, so anyone with a brain can contact their support after they purchase the product to let them know that the rebate form shows a $10 rebate and not a $100 rebate.

I have confirmations that after talking with Amazon's support they are most likely going to refund the $90 difference and once you finish the mail in rebate, it's practically free.

Have fun while this lasts.

P.S. This isn't really scamming amazon, I gave them a week to get their sales people to fix this issue (after direct contact) but haven't heard back. They're just holding up their end of the bargain as listed on the item's page. 👍
Note: if you aren't refunded the difference, this is still amazon and you can return the product on the grounds that it wasn't the price that was advertised.

Sweet, bought one of these yesterday. Hope asus has added Windows 10 support. Heard it BSOD alot (according to comments by customers on amazon.)

Just make sure they read the actual PDF.

once they take the time to READ it then its quite simple. Otherwise they're just assuming you're the idiot.

I know I posted the link to the pdf and laid it out completely how it looks to me (Amazon says 100, ASUS says 10) and the 2nd guy was a prick -_- god I hate talking to support lol
