How can i monitor what torrents other peoples are downloading in my network.
I need to know the infohash or the metadata of the torrents that they are downloading. just point me in the right direction. I can program in c, c++, java.

In a local network? Use wireshark I guess (Network monitoring tool). If you mean people around you (I don't know why you would only target people around you on different local networks) just go to a popular torrent section and view the most popular?
