Hi there !


I just bought another smartphone for the fun of it to try to develop apps and testing them for the fun of it. I was just wondering ( my parano side of me ) if the phone was used in the past for malicious stuff such as hacking or whatever, if I connect to a network or wifi , is there a chance that the phone could be "reported" such as used for stuff like that i don't know? For example if it's being traced because of malicious activities.

Depends on what you've done.
Unless you hacked PayPal's database with it, I don't think there's much to worry about.

Just use a VPN/Proxy from now on and for christs sake quit trying to "hack" with a smartphone.

Thanks for your reply. But in all respect, I did nothing with the phone that I bought. It was just something that I asked to myself in my head when I came back home with it, if EVER the person before did something malicious with it .
