Interview - Drizzy
.Sinister: Welcome, Drizzy to the 260th edition of the HF News! Have any shoutouts you want to make before we begin?
Drizzy: Thanks, it's great to be here! Just a shout out to Vex and Bald. Have known both of them for years!
.Sinister: Alright, let's get started with that same old question that everyone gets asked. How'd you end up on HF?
Drizzy: Haha, of course. When I was 9 years old, I found the game "Club Penguin". Being a nine year old kid, of course I wanted to cheat.
.Sinister: Woah, so you found HF when you were nine years old?
Drizzy: I didn't find it until I was 12 though.
.Sinister: Ah yeah, that's what I thought haha. What have you done so far on HF?
Drizzy: Well for starters, DrizzyBot was my first major release on HackForums. It was the first Skype bot to have multiple commands besides the basic ones. It's the reason that there are so many Skype bots being released on HackForums these days which I find pretty interesting. It was the first bot on HackForums to implement artificial intelligence which caused other Skype bots to add that as well. DrizzyBot eventually got big enough for me to make my own website for it, which is still up today. Having a site allowed me to implement more functions such as premium users. My second large release would have to be my "Advanced Doxing Tool". I made it as a personal project, and put no effort towards it. However, more and more users started asking for access to it, so I released it on HF. It blew up with positive feedback, and continues to receive good feedback today. In addition to being widely popular on HF itself, it is one of the most popular doxing tools available on the web itself. For example, if you go to google.com and start typing "Dox tool ", one of the suggested searches is "Dox Tool Drizzy". And just searching that yields multiple results where members of other forums re-released my tool and is all over.
.Sinister: That's impressive! I believe you coded this all yourself?
Drizzy: Yes I did, all of this is coded from scratch. All of the coding languages I know are self-taught
.Sinister: When did you start coding? What cause you to become interested in it?
Drizzy: My first introduction to programming was when I wanted to learn how Club Penguin trainers worked. I looked up how to make one.
.Sinister: What languages do you know, and what have you created using those languages?
Drizzy: As of right now, I'm familiar with VB .NET, C#, Java, and PHP/SQL. However, I'm currently learning C++ and Python to further extend my knowledge. As for what I've created, my first major application would have to be DrizzyBot. It was my first application to have a desktop application and a website interacting with each other, as well as a frontend/backend website. I am proud of it even though it's had some complications. In addition to DrizzyBot, I created a website that allows students to watch YouTube videos and bypass the filter put on the YouTube domain. It's fairly popular within my school even though nobody knows I'm the one that has created it 😏
.Sinister: Woah, that's beyond impressive! What do you hope to do in the future with your skills?
Drizzy: I'm glad that you asked that! I've actually been looking into internships at software engineering companies in my state for over the summer. I've already gotten two interviews for all-summer paid internships which is extremely exciting! Assuming any of the internships work out, I hope that that will lead me into bigger opportunities in the near future. I'm only a Junior in high school right now so I don't have my entire future planned out, but I do hope that things will fall into place over the summer.
.Sinister: Do you plan on acquiring any other skills?
Drizzy: Well of course there are more things to learn about my current programming languages, but I hope to extend my skills into networking and network security.
.Sinister: What do you want to achieve on HF and why?
Drizzy: Hmm, I've never really thought about it. I think my biggest goal would to be a well-known and trusted member so no issues arise in the future. In a way, that fits under the Member of the Month so I guess you could say that that would be an awesome achievement 🎉
.Sinister: Have you learned anything from HF?
Drizzy: Yes!!! I've learned so much! Not all of it was good, but all of it is valuable information. My first eye opener was when I was scammed over $300 when I was 13. I had debt collectors calling me and sending me letters in the mail because I was in the red. I managed to pay it off and that was a nice lesson and introduction to the real world. Besides that, I believe I have further progressed my programming knowledge because I always wanted to release something for the community, so I had something to create which expanded my skills.
.Sinister: Thanks for your time Drizzy! Anything else you want to say before we wrap this up?
Drizzy: Thank you Sinister! I think that about covers it. However, for everyone else, keep your eyes open for the new HFLive 🎉

Hold on just a bit longer, our new system is almost done. Expect it to go live either 262 or 263. The new system mainly affects how we create and process the news but also how the end product will look.

Those will be in next weeks edition, not this one.

Yea, sorry for the delay. Had a chem test today so was studying the past few days and didn't have the time to publish it.
Stay tuned for the new system guys. It should be pretty good.
Still a good read.
Can't wait for the new system.
Good edition news team, looking forward to seeing the new system.

I love reading these whilst I have a shit in the morning.
This was way too short, I had to read through it again. Great edition nevertheless.
Apologies for the shortness. We aim to have the new system in place within 2 weeks (next two editions).
Nice edition, excited to see what the new system will bring.
Looking forward to the re-work of HFN. Good work guys.
