What happends to the group if the owner is closed?

As stated in the thread, if the owner of a group gets closed, what happends to the group?
Will someone else take over it or will Omniscient sell the group spot to someone else?
Don't ask me but the groups are paid for and groups in the past have closed down because they didn't pay a 'tax' to Omni to keep the group so it got shut down. So unless a member paid for the group to run it, it would be shut down

To my knowledge anyway
The group is closed and is usually sold, which was the case when Phoenix (which was owned by Tibit) was closed.

No no. There is no ongoing tax for group owners like that. There is a transfer fee if you transfer ownership of the group to another member.

There are two likely possibilities if a group owner has their account closed:
  • The group will be removed
  • The group may be put up for sale

I think that the first is more likely.

You're making that up. There is no taxing of groups.
