Kali 1.X or Kali 2.X Consensus?

Was wondering of what hf thought of Kali linux 1.X and then 2.X if you've tried it, I would love to know which you guys think is better!

Knowledge is power.
the latest version of Kali (kali 2.0) is fantastic even better metaspolit runs so much quicker.
Version 2 looks better and is a bit faster but not all modules work that well as they did on version 1.
Hey all,

I have a HDD that runs Kali. I want to put kali 2.0 on a SSD to hot swap the drives.

I dont know what I'm doing I guess. 4chan is no help.

I already put the .iso on to a dvd and ive booted from the dvd and tried to install it but I keep getting an error during the install portion. I have no idea what to do and I have no idea how to make it so I can boot from a USB stick. can someone constructive help me please?

note:
All I have is kali (original)
I do not have windows.

Thanks
Laneo
@Laneo2007 You could try searching google for the program Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.5.8 and using that to create a bootable Usb? Its what i used to make a bootable usb for kali linux 2.0. I also encountered a problem during the installation from USB but all i did to solve it was when the error came up i pulled out the usb, waited a few seconds and then put the usb back in and clicked on retry and it carried on where it left off. Not sure this is much help to you in regards to the error you have encountered but im just trying to help.
Kali linux 2.0 Its cleaner and as another member stated metasploit does indeed load faster. They have just about the same thing both of them It's just really the "looks", but if that's the case v2.0 is better imo.
Kali linux 2.0 is GREAT. However it does seem to have a problem when you want to install it from a flash drive to your hdd\ssd ect. that it's looking for a CD, which it will say it can't find. Also don't use Universal-USB-Installer, Rufus is a MUCH better iso to flash drive installer imo. Only thing i use and it ALWAYS works.
Kali 1.7 ran everything flawlessly, I actually liked it enough to install to my HDD.
Kali 2 is nicer looking, but I still liked the look of Kali 1 better. And it doesn't run as many packages as well.
