I was thinking of buying a PTC script and hosting a site, but it seems like things could easily go wrong if not done right. Does anyone have experience with a PTC site and the potential for profitability? Thanks.

Well I think PTC is pretty saturated. You'd have to give it a little twist, in oder for it to work I think.

Dont, it's not as easy as it sounds and you need to have extreme advertising skills + money to be able to push it out, also things can go south very easily.

i've owned a ptc site before with alot of members,

its not as profitable as it seems, most of the profits come from members upgrading, not ad selling.

and most of the users are from countries that dont have much money so they wont upgrade

I tried , but then gave up when almost every script seller wanted me to give them my domain and hosting information so they could upload it themselves. They won't even let you do it.
