advertising a forum that has no content is not a good idea.
anyone that is considering joining should be aware of ops other threads where he is paying people.
I will not be joining because it does not look like it will be around for long.

I can guarantee you that any big, popular forum has paid for some posts at some point. Look on Post Loop at the large sites doing it. Any site you go to, I can guarantee it has happen. Paying for posts is no where near as bad as importing databases as some other sites have done. HF being one of them.

I appreciate your opinion. If you decide to change your mind we would love to have you on the forum. I plan to run it for a long time.

There is a mutual friend between the owner of that site and me. The mutual friend runs some forums as well, and I told him about mine. I didn't get the database. It was just a mass mail sent out by the friend.
