Sorry everyone, Nex has changed his mind about the transfer. He has decided that a 12k investment is not worth giving away, regardless of the community benefit. So he will remain the owner of the group.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words about my leadership potential in the thread yesterday though 🤝
Here is the full story of why I am stepping down from leadership and leaving the group:
I joined the group at the start because it was a coding group, and I am a coder. I was given a leadership position because of the work I was doing in the group, and kept working extremely hard for the group. More than 50% of the threads in the SF were mine. I pumped out tutorials in the group name and worked for over a month on the Divine Challenge in the hope that it would change the communities perspective on the group. All the tutorials I wrote, Nex claimed that they were worked on by the whole group in the SF - completely downplaying my work. The truth is, I basically WAS divine all by myself xD.
At the very start, I told Nex that I would not stand for buyins being sold, and we agreed that we would not have any of his products branded with the group name. First off, he started selling a leadership spot for $900. I confronted him about it, and he convinced me that it was just one, because Angel Beats was closed, so I let him be. Then, he started selling more of his products under the Divine name (including Divine RAT which didn't even work when it was first released), Divine Downloader/Dropper, Divine Crypter, while he was still selling similar programs under the name Galaxy AND the name Debug.

His products often list features on the thread designs that they DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE, for example, he said: "Add these options (even if it doesnt have them, we can add later, just so it matches what the thread says)".
A friend told me Nex had explicitly told him he didn't care if he saturated the marketplace as long as he made money. Then to add to it, he opened up a 'Marketing Student Program', telling his customers:

This was one of the final straws for me, I knew he was basically scamming the people willing to pay, and I knew that it was just his way of selling buyins, which he agreed never to do.
Nex says he 'hired' members to reskin his products. But the truth is, I don't think ANY of them have been paid. I will not name names here, but multiple members have told me that Nex owes them $250, $500, and even upwards of $1000 for the work they did for him. When members ask to be paid, he tells them that he has over 50% of his sales being chargebacked, and the other 50% of his funds are frozen in his paypal. He just makes more and more excuses and never pays anyone. He has had members host his product threads for free (which is technically proxy selling) and more. Nex is in huge debt at the moment.

You all know the initial drama over the buyins being kicked when the group was rebranded from Divine -> Debug. Nex told everyone that the money went straight to porygon and that he refunded them all, which is not true. I am fairly sure that in the end, Nex actually managed to pay off the entire group through buyins and leadership spots.
Finally came the public drama over the ownership transfer (above). Nex told me he was leaving HF because he was given the offer of an amazing job with a 180k salary, and he told me he was going to give the group to me. It turns out, he was PMing Omni to make a deal with him, that I would be the owner on showgroups.php but Nex could have the group back at any time without my consent. I was never going to be the real owner, Nex just wanted it to look that way so that people liked Divine better - so that he could eventually monetize it better. When Omni said no, Nex junked his thread straight away. I wouldn't have even minded if he had just changed his mind, but the fact that he posted a thread about it before he was even sure, and the fact that he had hidden conditions... it was just too much drama. Over and over, he was ruining his reputation, and with it, the groups and mine. I couldn't put up with it any more.
It was at this point that I really became serious about leaving. I mentioned it to Nex, who told me that as soon as I left, he would start milking the group completely. He gave me his full plan: first he would sell 6 leadership spots for whatever price he could get, then sell membership spots, and then sell the group and quit hf.
I asked Nex if I could sell my leadership spot, and he agreed on the condition that I gave him half the money. I thought, half is better than none, so I agreed and opened a thread. A short while later I got a buyer - ChromeProducts - who contacted Nex to see if he was approved. Nex then went ahead behind my back and sold the spot to Chrome, and I got nothing. So I PMed Omni to have myself removed as leader and quit the group forever. On a side note, Chrome was kicked less than a month later with no warning, because he 'missed a payment', even though there was nothing in the contract about such a thing.
So that is why I quit divine. At the same time I left, almost half the group left with me (Membership count dropped from 30 to 18). Only 3 of the actual coders in the original group stayed (~Dec, Dr.Watson and Casp3r). I really wish things had been different, and I wish the members still in the group all the best, but if Nex continues to do what he is doing, I am afraid to say that the group is never going to improve.
