Introduction:
It's that time of the year again! A time when us anti-social outcasts come together and embrace the season of giving! A time when otaku and weeb alike, put aside their differences and share their love of the Japanese art-form that brought us all together. Welcome my snow-skinned brethren, to the 2014 Anime Adventures Secret Santa event. Remember, it's the thought that counts...unless you're rich.

Overview:
If this is your first time participating, you may be a bit perplexed by this thread, so lemme fill you in.

In this event, members of AA come together and give the gift of giving...gifts. Basically, you sign up with the intent of giving a gift to another member of the forum, the only thing is, you don't know initially who you're getting as your gifting partner, and they don't know who is sending a gift to them. Only those who meet the requirements (displayed below) may participate. Please know that these requirements are to lessen the chance of members not receiving gifts from unknowns or anons. If you wish to participate, follow the instructions below and remember to give generously!

Participants will be grouped by region to reduce shipping costs where possible.

Requirements:
These are the requirements you must fulfill in order to participate in this year's Secret Santa event:
You must have at least 100 posts in the AA section BEFORE THE TIME OF THIS THREAD'S CREATION. Basically means you can't spam AA to meet the requirement just to get gifts.
You must have the ability to send and receive parcels in the mail or have a valid email address where you can receive digital gifts or items (gift codes, website subscriptions etc.)
You must have at least $20 (+shipping/applicable fees) to invest in this event.
You must be free of any scam reports on your account.
Gifts sent must have some connection to anime or Japanese culture.

Acceptance into this event is at my sole discretion. I look into all accounts participating in this event. Any undesirable members will be denied admittance. Participation is a right not a certainty so don't fuck it up.

Participant form:

Copy and paste this form after filling it out and post it in this thread.

I think more people would participate if you put a "Can you accept weaboo shit?:" field.

Shows I'd like to receive stuff from but not limited to: One Punch Man, Darker Than Black, Kyousogiga, Noragami, Black Lagoon, Durarara, Other shows that aren't fruity even if I gave them a high rating.

Shows to avoid: SAO, AoT, other shit.

Stuff I want: Preferably a lanyard or two if they're cheap (A lot come in packs of 2-10 if you want one for yourself get a 2 pack and I'll send you the extra).

Here's a few things I wouldn't mind getting:

Not a big Chibi fan, and kind of on edge about key chains, if there's an option without one that's cheaper get that one instead.

Please: I don't want to sound ungrateful, but if you're getting something not supplied by me could you have someone else message me asking if I'd like it? I know I sound like a dick. (Send a few things so I don't actually know what you're thinking)

On a side note: Probably don't use newegg, I assume they will be more expensive than other places.

This is so awesome. I remember similar threads being made in the Lounge last year and the year before I think. I wasn't quite aware of this section that much back then, only discovered it fully this year.
Wish I could participate though :(. I don't meet the 150 posts in AA so this year I'll have to stay on the bench. I'll keep my eyes on this though, sounds fun.

[Tsu-kun]

This sounds awesome but I don't feel like participating.. I'd like to see everyone's gift though ;p

[SewDough]

Ah, I remember when we first did this and only 4 people (myself included) actually went through with the secret santa exchange.
So much fun. So much nostalgia.

I still have that Black Rock Shooter mousepad. :^)

Count me in again, and also, Black Lagoon is love, Black Lagoon is life.

[Cloaked.]

You know what ? Screw it. I'll take my chances even if I don't meet one of the requirement. I really want to participate in this event xD
Even if I don't get accepted this year, next year I'll be ready ^^

I'm not picky, even if it's a custom created wallpaper. I'd love it simply because I know it will come from someone else just for me. I like that idea.
