[Tutorial] Start Making Money Today, Even If You Are Broke

Introduction

If you want to make money online, you will need an investment. You can either invest your time, skills, or your money. If you are just starting out and are dead broke, this guide will help you. We are going to talk about two methods that you can use even if you don't even have a penny! Then, we are going to talk about how you can invest that money to make even more if you wish to do so.

Get Paid To Write

Writing is an excellent way to get started making money online. The two sites I am going to cover payout weekly to your PayPal account.

I-Writer

I-writer can be found at this link: http://www.iwriter.com/

I-writer is a content mill. Clients go through them to request articles, which get passed on to the writers. The pay at I-writer is very low when you start out. I think it's about $2.50 per 500 words. You have to get 30 reviews before you are eligible to earn more. Ratings are 100% based on the client's opinion of your work.

Clients can also reject your work for any or no reason. But, each client's rejection rate is displayed on their project request. I only recommended writing for clients who have at least a 70% acceptance rate.

Textbroker

Textbroker can be found at: https://www.textbroker.com/

I like Textbroker. Before you are given any projects, you have to submit a sample article that will be reviewed by Textbrokers editors. This process takes about five days. After your review, you will be given a rating from 2 to 5 stars. 2 stars will earn you less than a cent per word.

Four stars will get you about 1.5 cents. Five stars will get you 5 cents per word. But it's very unlikely you will be given five stars right away. After your review, you will be allowed to do five projects. Then, the editors will rate each of your projects, and your new rating will be the average of your last five projects.

The editors will audit your work from time to time. You can be given promotions or demotions accordingly. Textbroker pays directly into your Paypal every week.

Website Testing

Here, you can find a list of several websites that will pay you to do tests.

The test can vary. The most common test will pay you $20 to go to their website and narrate everything that is going through your mind. You will need a microphone, and you will have to install screen capture software onto your computer.

You may only get a few tests per month, depending on you ratings. But, it's an easy extra $40 or so a month.

Investment

Ah, you're still here, good. You are only just getting started. After you get good at the projects we talked about; you can earn a good $10 an hour. If you want to make more, you might want to think about investing your earnings.

There are several methods you can pick from. We are going to talk about pay-per-click and affiliate marketing.

Pay-Per-Click

When it comes to PPC, I would either go with Bing or Google Adwords. With PPC, you will bid on a keyword. That is how much you will pay each time someone clicks on your ad.

Affiliate marketing pays you each time a visitor you referred buys a product. Most of the affiliate products I have promoted are from Clickbank.

The Formula

The formula is pretty simple and depends on the conversation rate. The conversation rate depends on two factors. How targeted your keywords are, and how good the copywriter who made the sales page is. The average conversation rate is 2.35%. To be safe, let's assume it's 1.00% when you first start testing a new product.

You want to be able to at least break even if only 1 out of every 100 visitors you send to their website buy the product. To do this, divide the commission you will make for each sale buy 100.

For example, if you are promoting a product that pays you $30 for each sale, divide 30 by 100 =.30 So, your max bid per keyword should be 30 cents.
Good post, but Textbroker is useless unless you already write at a 4star+ level - there are zero projects for anyone under 4 stars so you have no where to practice

That's a good point. They usually have 3-star projects during the week, but they go quick. They have some really useful guides at Textbroker University. I started off as a 3-star author. I read their guides and emailed them asking to be evaluated again. They bumped me up to four stars.

They are in LOVE with commas. A misplaced comma could mean a pay deduction. The key is to keep your sentences as simple as possible. When I proofread, I will re-write anything if I can not verbalize the grammar rule behind each comma placement.

Because they are so picky, I would never depend on them as my only source of income. A friend of mine was a 4-star author for several years. He was dropped back down to 3 stars at of nowhere. At that point, you have to wait up to several months to get upgraded again.

Which reminds me, it's been about two months since I have heard from my friendly neighborhood editors. I bet they are planning to take a microscope to my work any day now. Hides

My only response to that is you get what you pay for, and I encourage everyone to do their own research BEFORE signing up with Traffic Monsoon. 🤝

Your welcome :)
It's very useful for beginners. Thanks bro!
OP do you have to be good at English for the writing jobs or is it easy to write and maintain a higher star rating?

It is incredibly hard to get anything above a 3 unless you have previous experience with writing. If you are going to do it I suggest textbroker university beforewards

Please elloborate and tell me your experience with Trafficmonsoon ?
I will always recommend someone who has no money but can do schoolwork to do a paid business doing homework. Great money and free education

Pretty much this. I do college assignments from time to time for people, and they do actually help and teach you a lot. You learn by doing - you don't learn from someone telling you 8 hours of information 5 days a week.
Moving on in life in such a way that doesn't include HF. HF allowed me to get into the security field and peaked my interest: I appreciate everyone's time, effort, and encouragement. If for some reason you have a means to message me outside HF, feel free to, but I won't be coming back.
Nice man i will try it, thanks.

I haven't used it, but a few people I know have. None of them had decent conversions from it. Also, from what I understand, they pay people to click links. If I'm correct, the traffic is coming from people looking to get paid, which would mean its not as targeted as they would like you to believe.

This is just my stance, and as always, I encourage others to do their own research and come to their own conclusions.

Based on my experience, as long as you can write legibly, Textbroker will give you at least a 2-star rating. One of the things I like about Textbroker is that they will tell you why you had points deducted.

It may take a while, but if you are determined to improve your writing, you can follow their advice and work your way up to 4-stars without a problem.

I recommend that anyone who is getting started with Textbroker read some of their guides. They can be found at this link: https://www.textbroker.com/textbroker-un...ry-classes

Other than that, proofread. Then, run your article through a spell checker before proofreading one last time. It can be a little time consuming, but it is worth it to become a 4-star author. Always make sure you understand exactly what the client wants before you accept each order. Check out the clients profile, do not accept any projects from clients with who have a revision rate higher than 10%.

The pay at Textbroker is better than any other content mill I have come across. However, picky clients will cost you time and money. They are simply not worth it. Use subheadings, even when the client does not request them. Use an active voice as much as you can. Going the extra mile can get you direct orders.

With direct orders, you set your price. Editors will not take points away for not using subheadings, unless you are a 5-star author, but they will gain you bonus points. If you are a 2-star author, you will get paid a lot less. However, the only requirement from Textbroker is that your articles are legible. That means if you are content with two stars, you can crank out these bad articles left and right.

That's not my style, but you have to decide that on your own. Also, it's a great option for those who are not that great with English. Here are some samples of what they expect from each star level: https://www.textbroker.com/textbroker-university-introductory-classes
