Difference between Noragami and Noragami Aragoto?

Everything is in the title, so what's the difference? As in storyline wise. (I already know Noragami is season 1 and Noragami Aragoto is season 2)
I havent got to watching it yet but im guessing Aragoto is just a continuation of the story.
Lotta blood to let, peace to make, give a fuk about a check
I believe season 1 was about portraying Yato's story. With season 2 being him making a name for himself. Despite the recent episode of season 2 of course.
It's just a continuation, it starts off with an arc about Bishamon and then transitions into an arc about another god, Ebisu. It's probably gonna stop at the end of that one. I honestly can't remember the individual arcs from S1 except for the filler one at the end.
Lets start watching Noragami , Seems cool enough.
I guess you've never heard of a sequel.
No real difference.. What would you expect? It's just a sequel. Meaning it's a continuation of the story, it tells you more about Yato's past in general.
Okay I get it and what's a "Shinki" ?

Why are you asking so many questions, just watch the show 😑

Quote:A shinki is made from the loose spirit of a dead human (死霊, shiryou). By “loose spirits”, it usually means wandering souls of people who died from being murdered or killed in accidents. From the eyes of the gods, people who died due to these causes deserve a second chance since they still wanted to live; this is probably why these souls are chosen to become shinki.

Since most of the loose spirits die at a young age as a human, it is common for a shinki to look young. However it also depends on the age of the human when he/she died. Yukine, for example, looks like a teenager, Mayu looks like a woman in her early twenties while Daikoku looks like a man in his late twenties/early thirties.

Before a loose spirit is taken in as a shinki, the spirit must not be corrupted in any way, therefore being a pure spirit. A spirit can be corrupted and become unusable when it’s attacked or possessed by phantoms (partially or fully). By “possessed”, it also refers to a spirit who died due to committing suicide. If a soul is attacked and gets impure - even a little - its item form will become partially or entirely unusable; e.g. dull, torn, broken, etc.
