"Who Posted?"

Ok so you know how you can go to a subforum and look who replied to a thread and how many times all users posted. It's the "Who Posted?" feature.

If you don't know what I'm talking about: Spoiler (Click to View)

You can only use this feature outside of the thread, if you go under "Your Threads" or to a subforum. I thought maybe it could be added inside of the thread.

I use this thing often and sometimes I can't find "Who Posted?" in a particular thread that I am browsing, because it's too far away in its section.
I know it's possible to find it but it takes time. Adding it to the thread would be alot easier!

An idea of how it could look like: Spoiler (Click to View)

Thank you for reading!
yeah I mean that would practical but honestly I don't think enough people use it to the point where there will be a change. I think it would take a lot to put this into effect.
Seems somewhat worthless since people rarely use it. Kinda like the warning log I recommend way back!
Maybe someone could write an addon for it?

It's a good suggestion.

But, I would rather say, add the "Who Posted" option under "Thread Options".

^this

If enough people really want this changed someone should just write a simple plugin

I was originally gonna suggest that, but I didn't think it would fit in with its options. But yeah that would work I guess.
I am sure the guys what made the Hackforums Enhancement Suite could write a addon for this for their next update.

Unfortunately I don't think the HFES is still being updated.
But this is a really easy addition, just adding a link to a page, so it is viable that this would be implemented if omni has the time.
I can see your reasoning behind it but this most likely won't be implemented as it doesn't take much time at all to open that section in a new tab and view it from there. If the thread isn't on the first few pages however simply use the Search feature and you will find the thread you're looking for with the option of viewing who posted.

Unless Emy decides to add this to HFES or another member does something similar, I don't see this happening anytime soon.
bugga told me I'm a cutie

Well basically, the feature is very underused and the need for a button is minimal. It's not really a needed feature. It's there and clicking the number of replies is a suttle way of having it. The postbit is already very clustered and adding more things like this would just make it more complicated.
Omniscient said multiple times that he doesn't want to overload the postbit, and that we will change theme soon, so I doubt it'll be implemented.

If you want it so badly, take a look at this : https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/14155-who-posted
