I configured IRC server and the normal kaiten.c and compiled it on one of my hosts and executed it. Bot connect successfully to my IRC server..

but when I configure the kaitenSTD(kaitenSTD source) and compile/execute it on the bot again(also on other bots) it does not connect to my irc server..

can somebody help me?
my chan name is #test
my irc port is 6667
no key
my irc has password
and where it says "serverip" i entered my servers ip
later in code: srv.sin_port = htons(PORT); i did srv.sin_port = htons(6667);

-> still the bot does not connect but with normal kaiten it works...

Try it without a password. That should work.

tried.. it still does not connect
