Rename "Wrong Forum" to "Wrong Section" or "Wrong Sub-Forum"

So I've always wondered about the Wrong Forum report feature.

To me it sounds like your reporting it because it belongs on a completely different website/forum.

Make it Section and it would make a bit more sense, as they are called sections, not a forum in general.

(Forum is a very broad term I guess)

EDIT: "Wrong Sub-Forum" seems to fit peoples mind.

Sections are named Forums within the MyBB software, also called a forum on IPB and I think vBulletin.

Maybe change it to sub-forum, but not section.

A section is a completely different category which would confuse some users. I think it's fine the way it is as it's known as a forum.

You're right OP but I don't think this is a massive deal.

It is called sub-forums, should be changed to that.

Minor thing, not necessary to change.

While either term is really acceptable, MyBB mostly refers to the top-most parents as 'forums' and everything beneath them as 'sub forums' - with the grouping element as the 'category.'

I get where the confusion might come for some members OP, but I think it's fine.

This suggestion leaves an unsavory taste in my mouth.

PHPBB, which we are in, AKA Personal Home Page Bulletin Board is not functioning as you think. There are Forums and Sub-forums, not sections, but it's a pretty good synonym, I'd like to state

This forum is using MyBB.

People know what it means. There's no need to change it, IMO.

Well you can't exactly move it to a different board. It's hard to get wrong.

Plus we have a section for almost everything.
