What is the difference between irc not and http bot ,

The difference is huge. IRC has no statistics, the connection is open always, it generally consumes more bandwidth, its use is very limited. Great for DDOS as it starts instantly.

HTTP has much more potential. HTTP traffic generally blends in better, statistics, reports etc. Trojans use HTTP, think why.
