I starting learning rails about 2 months ago and so far so good, even managed to make cool forum web app which is still in production.
Anyways....I want to exploit using ruby or ruby on rails app. Basically All i want to do is create a program to obtain a user IP address or mass report.
Any recommendations on how I could do this. Also I don't mind teaming up with beginner ruby/RoR programmers to figure this out.
I'm pretty sure that I would have to learn some ruby socket programming or ruby network programming.
Any advice is highly appreciated.
