That is a good question. It appears a large amount of the groups here are unorganized and serve no purpose. Judging by your posts throughout the forum, I have faith in the group you will be leading. Good luck.

I have an amazing group idea that I'm probably going to put into effect once I get everything set up. I don't want to say too much as it will probably be kept very secret even when the group is made. What makes my group different from other groups is.

1. Our members will have top notch resources including housing, latest hardware/software, connections to successful individuals and companies, etc.
2. Our members can get a stable job in something that they love to do after they are accepted as one of our own
3. Our members will not only contribute greatly to the quality of Hackforums but develop new and innovative products and services in their field of choice.
4. We will be VERY selective on who we choose and NEVER re sell our group.
5. Though we will be contributing greatly to Hackfourms, we will not "flaunt" our group like a lot of groups tend to do.

I have a very secure and amazing plan that will hopefully go into play soon. Purchasing a group will be a major step but it will be a group like no one has seen before.

I feel like it's a trend that won't stray or change noticeably. Having experience with being in your past groups I feel like you could accomplish something different. Although, I haven't seen enough yet to say that anything will change.

Kind of leaning towards no since groups will always be groups. It's nice to see newer groups popping up, but my vote was it's just too early to tell as Dawn is only getting started. I'm sure F8 is in the planning stage, Razor's new group might seem to be a bit different, but we'll see. And the Crypto rebrand might turn out to be something but we'll see I suppose.
