Currently I am having classes in programming. Just the basics for now. I've done 3 projects regarding programming, Web development and geo- ict.
Now my question is as follows.
What do you prefer?
Programming or Web development?
What do you think will make more profit during your career?
Made a poll 👍
"Programming or Web development?"
They're the same thing; I believe you mean "Software Development" instead of "Programming" in general.

Thnx for the heads up :) will change the title
Definitely software development.
Software development can do much more and has much more jobs to offer.
While web development only includes for web development. And if you do Software development you can easily do web development aswell.
While if you do web development you can't develop software easily.
AFAIK this is how I know it and how it's told me.
So you should go for Software development for sure.

I'm doing that currently. Will need some more replies to make my final decision.

So you should go for Software development for sure. I really do think this guy is wrong, but I am not sure. From person experience I have seen more web developers get hired over software developers. I think web development is a lot more flexible.

That is what I am seeing aswell...
Mobile development is more on demand than web devs and desktop app devs.

It's an insanely nice market.

If you go with for exemple Apple, they have their very own language using swift and xcode (using a mac or atleast osx). Really easy to learn and work amazingly great

Will take a look at that thnx for the advice!
If you're still in school, I don't see why you can't learn both.
You will need core 'programming' fundamentals even for web development unless you plan on only focusing on the front-end.
