Hope you are not mad on me answering the question, OP seems to be in-active.

I'm coming from East Europe, similar to Russia but also not similar to Russia.
But yes, kids drink here on normal basis.

In our country its legal to drink beers at 14 but for example more on east, kids smoke and drink at the age of 15 even the legality is 18.
Some kids even start at 13 or 14.

Most people especially in Villages drink a lot.
