This thread is mainly to address some concerns about the direction of HF. I think it's time I try to ensure the community of a few things.

CE forum is closed. I do not expect it to return. Instead I plan to figure out a better way to allow currency exchanging in a safer more orderly fashion. And I don't mean with escrow service. Some of my ideas are providing a page listing official websites as well as members who do reputable exchanges. I may also consider creating a group that is for the members properly involved in CE. Guidelines need to be created, permissions, and plugins. In the meantime I can't allow the situation to continue as it was the closing the forum was very necessary. In no way did I want to discourage and stop currency exchanging. It just has to change on HF in order to be safer for the entire community. I think that's a very reasonable and even noble goal. I am not oblivious to the communities needs of having convenient currency exchange. Please be patient with the changes to come.

VIP secion was entirely deleted. However, I am considering adding a new one once we're on MyBB 1.8x. So it's possible in 2016 we'll see one return in some form.

There are those that complain about what HF has become or the direction it's heading. We have evolved and will continue to do so. The changes are often intentional and I don't enact them based on concensus or popular view. This is my website. I will run it how I see fit. If you don't like that then log out and don't return. I work way too hard everyday to have my efforts disrespected.
I'm closing this thread because these long drawn out discussions are distracting me from getting work done. There will be another time to discuss at length these changes.
Thank you.
