[Objective-C] initWithModel method

I'm trying to create an initWithModel method that uses a NSString *model as an input.
I can't seem to figure out how to create an initWithModel method, any ideas?
So if I understood this right, like this?

Code
- (id)initWithModel:(NSString *)oneModel; //constructor

Or did you mean actual function itself?

initWithModel isn't recognizing as anything, it's thinking I'm naming the method initWithModel.

Do you think you could post a piece of code that reproduces the behavior?
