Asian Competition(A must read for Computer science)

I wanted to do computer science at uni but I heard it is way to competetive and people outsource the work to Asian (China,India, and etc).I heard that the people coming from international places for IT will steal your spot in a heartbeat.

In Canada only gr.11 and gr.12 matters

let's say
gr.11 average is 80
gr.12 average is 80

Will I be able to get into the programs I want to

Ryerson Computer science Co-Op
Waterloo Computer Science Co-Op
York Computer Science

Is Computer Science a good field will the job die down or will it be hard for me to get a job..

I Have tons of questions and don't know where to get the answer.

While I cannot answer all of your questions, I can give you a thought process to think upon. Ask this question...

What does every startup need to "get noticed" and "get started" in the first place, & what does every big company use to reach the most people?

Computer science will be needed and used for a very long time. The point isn't to "get the best job right out of graduation". That most likely wont happen unless you are seriously 100% addicted to coding and a genius from the start. Just like with everything else, you are going to have to work your way to a great job in computer science, just like any other field of work. As far as out sourcing goes, I would not know honestly. And on a side note, if you are good enough, they wont be able to steal your spot. Hence the dedicated education.
Aus10 is right. Doesn't matter what field you pick, it's going to require hard work and lots of training and time dedication. However, computers are the way of the future and can be done from anywhere. A lot of other industries, you can't. So there's that.
Be dedicated and learn to love what you do. Stop segregating it like this

Fellow Torontonian here. Computer science is a great field, it won't die or be outsourced.

Computer science teaches a lot of math, theory, design etc.

The big companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc don't facebook because they demand incredibly high quality code, high intellect, great communication and English skills.

You definetly underestimate how important communication and English skills are to these companies, probably a large chunk of your job will be doing this, So no, it won't be outsourced.

As for your grades... they are way too low. Waterloo is requiring 90+ to get into CS, probably 95% or higher for co-op. Similar for UofT, you'll need 90% to get in CS.

As for york and ryerson, I'm not sure, but its probably good enough. Try to get it higher... Needless to say, you should still apply to waterloo/uoft... just don't expect to get in unless you get really lucky (because they do accept some people with 80's or so every year)
People have already stated what needs to be stated to alleviate your worries.
Anyway, your grades are ridiculously low. 80% won't get you anywhere.

EDIT: I checked York's website and the MINIMUM math average is 75%... I'm willing to bet ryerson is similar. So you're probably going to need MUCH higher than that. Likely 85% or so
