Currently, quotes get counted as a character when replying to a thread. This can be effectively used in bypassing the amount of characters required to reply in a thread.

Eg.,

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzandthisgetsrepeatedlikedaaaayummm

No.

-> A quote which may or may not exceed 25 characters, followed with a 3 character reply.

I suggest that quotes should not be counted as a character when a user wants to reply to a thread with a quote from another user/source.

Yeah I'm sure Omni is aware of the issue and I believe someone said it had something to do with changing servers and the plugin messing up.

It was suggested before, its not meant to be this way but yeah for now report posts which try to bypass the post count as LQP.
Just because you can bypass doesn't mean you are allowed to.
