Hello , i have seen videos on youtube how change extension with winrar 4.2 and the hex editor ,but when i am doing that file not executing its openning txt file and there is some encoded text..can you tell me why? thank you

Because you can't change an extension from .rar to .txt and expect it to open like a .rar

no in you tube they are changing extension inside .zip archive with hex editor,i just cant give you link for video search on youtube you will see

Extension spoofing is shit man. Most of the time it doesn't work, and even when it does all around just fucks up.

You can use an extension spoofer so it looks like a different extension but you can't change an extension

can you tell me good file extension spoofer (not unicode) ,but every spoofer is detectable by AV s yes?
